Description
The HEF4094BT is an 8-stage serial shift register. It contains a storage latch connected with each stage for strobing data from the serial input to the parallel buffered 3-state outputs QP0 to QP7. The parallel outputs can be linked directly to common bus lines. Positive-going clock transitions cause data to be displaced. When the strobe (STR) input is HIGH, data in each shift register stage is transmitted to the storage register. When the output-enable (OE) signal is HIGH, data in the storage register shows at the outputs.
