The Texas Instruments MSP430G2553IPW28 is a ultra-low-power, mixed-signal microcontroller ideal for a variety of applications. This device features an ultra-low power 16-bit RISC CPU with up to 16KB of Flash memory and 8KB of RAM. With low power consumption and with integrated peripherals, such as 10-bit ADC, Comparator, USART, SPI and I2C, it provides the highest levels of performance in a very small package. Its unique architecture helps reduce active power consumption to 140 µA/MHz and standby power consumption to 0.5 µA. This makes it ideal for applications that need to operate for extended periods at ultra-low power. With an on-chip debugging system and multiple power-saving options, the MSP430G2553IPW28 is a great choice for embedded design.
