The Texas Instruments TLV5638ID is a miniature, programmable, 3-channel low- voltage digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can be used to provide accurate analog output voltages. The small size and low power consumption of this device make it ideal for use in applications such as automotive, industrial, communications and medical. The unit is capable of delivering up to three independent 16-bit analog power rail outputs of up to +10V, -10V and between -5V and +5V. It also features an on-chip charge-pump voltage regulator, providing a smooth output response over a wide range of temperatures and loads. The converter can be programmed using the SPI interface and is power- cycled when not in use, allowing it to operate on a minimal power budget. The TLV5638ID is offered in a small SOT-23 package and is RoHS compliant.
