Texas Instruments UC3823AN is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides output power switching, overvoltage protection and current-mode control of DC- DC converters. It operates from a voltage range of 8V to 60V and is ideal for driving heavy loads. It features a wide input voltage range that enable reliable operation in various input voltage conditions. The UC3823AN also features a low operating current and a wide frequency range of up to 500kHz, allowing for high efficiency in a small package. It has an internal feedback network that ensures stability in all operation conditions and a soft start circuit that limits inrush current. The UC3823AN is designed to maximize lifetime, especially in pulsed applications. With a wide range of protection functions, such as overvoltage, undervoltage, undercurrent, and overcurrent protection, it is highly reliable and helps protect system equipment. Furthermore, the device has a built-in thermal shutdown circuit and UVLO (Under Voltage Lock Out) circuit. This makes it easy to design compact, cost- effective power supplies for applications ranging from consumer to automotive.
