Description
The PIC18F2520-I/SO is a flash microcontroller with a 10-bit A/D and nanoWatt technology. The PIC18F2520 family introduces design improvements that make these microcontrollers an obvious choice for a wide range of high-performance and power-sensitive applications. The PIC18F2520 family includes a number of features that can significantly reduce power consumption while in use. The PIC18F2520 device contains an internal oscillator block that generates two distinct clock signals, either of which can be used as the microcontroller's clock source. External oscillator circuits on the OSC1 or OSC2 pins may no longer be required. While in the end application circuit, the PIC18F2520 microcontroller can be serially programmed. This is accomplished simply by using two lines for clock and data, as well as three other lines for power, ground, and programming voltage.
