The Texas Instruments TPS40210DGQ is a high-efficiency, synchronous monolithic step-down DC/DC converter, with an integrated switch and MOSFET. It is designed to deliver an efficient, affordable, and silent solution for a variety of low-power applications. The TPS40210DGQ is capable of delivering up to 3 A of continuous current at up to 40V of input voltage. It integrates adjustable feedback voltage, enabling easy design optimization, as well as a frequency-selectable mode (FM) for reducing EMI. Additional features include up to 93% power efficiency, up to 0.6A of current overshoot protection, undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The TPS40210DGQ is available in a 5 x 5 mm 36-pin QFN package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
