The Texas Instruments LM2901M Linear Comparator is a general purpose 14 pin surface mount device designed for use in a variety of applications. It operates in the -40～C to 85～C temperature range, drawing up to 16mA at 5V and is suitable for use with CMOS, DTL, ECL, MOS, Open-Collector, and TTL components. It features an adjustable hysteresis control pin to enable more accurate comparisons, while its low power requirements make it ideally suited for use with battery-powered electronics. Components from this range are available in the popular N-series 14-SOICN package. The LM2901M is well suited for applications such as level detection, temperature monitoring, or voltage clamping.
